Book: Black Hole

Black Hole by Charles Burns

Book of the week: Just a god-damned excellent, 200-page graphic novel about teenage life, love, anxiety and alienation in the 1970s, except with a sexually transmitted plague going around that turns you into a mutant if you catch it. Dazed and Confused meets The Hills Have Eyes with this one, beautifully illustrated in ink-heavy gloom. (Thx to @theincredibleamoeba for sharing the goods here. Check out his awesome artwork.)
