A House Is a House for Me by Mary Ann Hoberman

Book of the week—Kid Edition (this site is not for kids but some of us have them and hopefully we all like practicing making them): This one, written in rhyme, has a flow and humour that young kids will love but shit Martha if there isn’t a sneaky little message in there about the inter-connectivity of existence and how almost everything on this planet is important to someone or something.

(Shoutout to my girl Katie for turning me onto this one via her kickass radio show from Spain, which i can’t find the link to right now but i will look harder. Shout out also to iambic pentameter.)
