Book of the Week: Sadly, Prince died just as the idea for him to do a book was picking up steam, but he did get a few good early life chapters written down and had selected a biographer—Dan Piepenbring, who edits this unfinished auto-compilation of Prince’s writings, lyrics, scripts and stories. This one definitely leaves you hungry for more but there are some good photos, memories and lyrics. And anyone who ever wanted to read a synopsis of the Purple Rain movie in Prince’s own handwriting… here ya go.
