The Curve of Time by Muriel Wylie Blanchett
Book of the Week: In 1927 Muriel Wylie Blanchett loaded her five children onto a 25-foot cedar boat and spent the next many summers puttering along the coast of British Columbia, exploring, adventuring, growing and living. Her book is a mix of humour and insight, adventure and philosophy, and while Blanchett says time either didn’t exist or didn’t matter over those summer months on the water, this book is a solid reminder of just how valuable our time is, especially if you have kids still young enough to follow you anywhere.
