Deep in the river valleys of the Coast Mountains there is jindling afoot. So much so, that each year jindlers come from near and far to determine who is the most courageous and adept jindler of them all at the Jindle Olympics. With jindle boards in hand, these gladiators take to the river tributaries while scores of jindle fans spectate, eager to see a champion crowned.
There can be only one….


The true heroes of the Jindle Olympics are the boards themselves—handmade from found or scavenged materials. Each rider has his or her own favourite board, technique, and strategy but the key takeaway of the annual event is that all the big name brands and marketing departments are full of shit—you don’t need the latest, most expensive gear to have a good time. You don’t even need an a real sport. Just get creative and find a way to make something happen. And if you can’t find a way, make one. Then let the good times flow.
