Burning Down the Haus—Punk Rock, Revolution, and the fall of the Berlin Wall by Tim Mohr

Book of the week is a look back at the punk rock scene in East Berlin at the start of the 80s during one of the most authoritarian regimes in history. In a land of snitches and secret police arresting them on sight, a subculture of kids fought the power, made the music, and eventually helped bring down the wall. Fascinating read. Thanks to the crew at Armchair Books in Whistler for hooking me up!
