Burning Down the Haus—Punk Rock, Revolution, and the fall of the Berlin Wall by Tim Mohr
Book of the week is a look back at the punk rock scene in East Berlin at the start of the 80s during one of the most authoritarian regimes in history. In a land of snitches and secret police arresting them on sight, a subculture of kids fought the power, made the music, and eventually helped bring down the wall. Fascinating read.
