This week we are in the presence of the master—no one writes dialogue like Elmore Leonard and this one is a lesser-known classic following a couple of cons who get in over their heads trying to live the good life of crime in Detroit. I could easily and happily re-read and review every Elmore Leonard crime book (I’ve yet to dive into his Western novels) but so far the only other one on this site is his 10 Rules of Writing book, which rules.
