Music: Party at the Moon Tower

tyMetal‘s Party at the Moon Tower

The title of this mix is an obvious nod to the classic film Dazed & Confuzed, which is set in 1976, but Whistler BC-based Dj tyMetal isn’t pigeonholing himself to one specific year with this collection of slick jams and beefed up remixes that can easily kick off a fireside dance party in a gravel pit or keep you grooving on a long cross-country drive (with your left arm out resting out the side door window of course). Fuckin’ Giv’r tyMetal!

“I basically woke up motivated to make a “classic rock” mixtape, a genre in which I haven’t dropped a mixtape before. As I always do, I hit record and dropped the needle. I don’t put too much thought into mixtapes as far as planning them out. Just a bunch of feel good jams from my childhood, riding shotgun in my big sisters Trans Am.”
