Book of the week. Once upon a time in a land not that different than our own, these books were the only way a kid could “become” a hero that traveled around Japan fighting Ninjas, suffering wounds, overcoming challenges, and learning from multiple failure/deaths. Before we had video games in our pockets or homes, “Choose Your Own Adventure” was as good as it got. (Also a gateway drug to Dungeons &Dragons). This particular adventure is a difficult one — fucking ninjas, man. Still the most badass death dealers out there.
